German Measles (Rubella)Exposure to this virus during early pregnancy can cause problems for the baby. Most
girls receive a Rubella vaccination at school but it is advisable to have a blood test to check your immunity, prior to conceiving.
If you are not immune you should be vaccinated as soon as possible, then you should avoid becoming pregnant for the next three
months as the mild form of the virus used in the vaccination could still be in your body. For information ask you G.P. when
you have your check up
