Baby Charities

Tommy's - the baby charity - Tommy's is determined to end the heartache caused by premature birth, miscarriage and stillbirth. They fund a national programme of research, education and information aimed at understanding and preventing these tragedies. Tommy's provides information about pregnancy health issues for medical professionals, parents and parents-to-be. Baby Lifeline - Baby Lifeline is a unique national charity offering loving care and support to pregnant mothers and new born babies all over the UK

Touching Tiny Lives.  - Touching Tiny Lives is a major campaign to help sick and vulnerable babies. The campaign's main aims are to raise £3 million for vital research to help prevent premature birth and life threatening pregnancy complications and to develop better treatments for babies who require special care.

SOS Children -  This is the UK charity site of SOS Children, the world's largest orphan and abandoned children charity.

Child Line - Gives a free and confidential help line for children who are in need to contact them and get sound help and advice. Need to talk? Call ChildLine on 0800 1111

NSPCC  - Its aim then was to protect children from cruelty, support vulnerable families, campaign for changes to the law and raise awareness about abuse.

Barnardo's - Offers Counselling, fostering and adoption, vocational training and disability inclusion groups.

Dyslexia Action - Dyslexia Action is a national charity and the UK's leading provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties.

Well Child - WellChild, a national UK charity, provides care and support for sick children and their families, while leading research into childhood illness and disease.

The children family trust - The Trust provides secure, supportive and nurturing foster homes for children in need. In 2003 the Trust broadened its work from a narrow focus on permanent care for children who need long-term fostering, to include those needing short-term care.
