It feels like labour it must be labour !

When you feel the pains of labour your assume that you are going to give birth, that is not always the case. You may be having Braxton-Hicks contractions they are often mistaken for labour. These ‘false’ contractions usually start halfway through the pregnancy and continue for the duration. They say it is natures way of preparing for the birth but our mums feel they are natures nasty little joke!

However if you find these contractions visibly harden, are more painful and lift your pregnant belly, get yourself checked out. It is always best to check out any pain with a medical professional.
